Are Felice Picano's other novels as good as this one? I was really intrigued having lived through this time period, even though I read the book almost twenty years after it was first published.

Jack To my mind, this is far and away his best book. THE BOOK OF LIES is another sprawling novel, with a sensational story and powerful erotic currents. THE LURE is pretty terrible, and THE NEW YORK YEARS reads like snippets from his novels. If I were to recommend only one other Picano book, it would def be THE BOOK OF LIES.
