Lisa asked:

Can anyone remember why Callie's brother is called "Chapter Eleven"?

Caelin Webber Because his brother drives the family business into bankruptcy, Cal refers to him by a specific portion of the US bankruptcy law.
Spencer McCarrey he's also born in the middle of chapter eleven! i didn't understand the double meaning but it is apparently there
Jola Wow, he is? I'm surprised because in the Polish translation his name is Jonasz (Jonas in English) and the name Chapter Eleven is not mentioned once... I guess that was the translator's decision since he deemed Chapter Eleven impossible to be translated in a way that would be comprehensible for the Polish readers. Still, I'm shocked that English-speaking readers don't know this character by any other name. Now I'm wondering about other language versions!

A note from the author himself! Chapter Eleven ends up filing for Chapter 11... :)
Lyn Stevens So glad I'm not the only one left wondering!!
Wendy Lecker chapter 11 means that you have nothing and file for bankruptcy. cal thought her brother was a nothing.
Catroina I really liked that "ah-ha moment" while reading when I realized why the character was was always referred to at Chapter Eleven.
Angela Benoit Thank you for asking this because I was confused ...
Sylvia Edmondson-Holt I never caught on to that name. That makes sense.
Michel Dignand You're wrong. It is because her brother was first mentioned in Chapter thirteen, even though the chapters are named, not numbered.
Kelly Moriarity i was going to ask the same exact question just now
Patty Blanchard I was wondering the same thing throughout the book!
Kelsey Hagen Is his real name ever mentioned?
