It is a fantastic read. So thrilled to know God is doing amazing in the world of Islam. Thank you for writing, David Garrison.

Alain R. It is good news to see how the Holy Spirit is moving hearts in the world of Islam toward his kingdom. - The book is an amazing account of Gods amazing work. - In terms of the used mission history however, there is some need to complement. There is still the strong belief at several places that the Protestant Mission Movement started with William Carey.
There is no question that the LORD used him particularly in the English speaking world, however his contribution was a late fruit of a movement that had effectively begun in Geneva in 1555, when the first 12 Protestant missionaries were sent out overseas. From what we know today it seems William Carey's ministry may have been the first contribution to global missions from the English speaking church. Also the mission history about Indonesia lacks the mentioning of the tremendous efforts of the German missionary Nommensen among the Batak (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ludwig_...), his way of contextualising the gospel and the impact of his ministry to the education system of Indonesia. The awakening of the Batak tribe were a great an the earliest success story and should therefore be mentioned. For the indigenous Indonesian Muslim background brethren it could have served as a pretext for their model.
