I've read Wicked Temper by this author and loved it. I was thinking about suggesting this as a group read. For those who have read this book, is it a stand alone book or a sequel to Wicked Temper?

Randy I can answer that. The Kestrel Waters is most definitely a stand alone novel. I actually think it's better to read it that way. It was written for the reader as if the first book didn't even exist.
