Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
The original idea came from something I heard a man share about a piece of advice he had given a woman in a violent home. He now lives with the guilt of that advice. It planted a seed in my mind that grew into so much more. Originally the entire concept was going to stem from that type of advice, but as I sat down and started typing, the characters shifted the story and caused it to encompass so much more than just a female character caught in a violent relationship. It turned into the story of a male character battling the rage within him, frightened he would end up just like his father, a murderer, and it blossomed into a beautiful, yet tragic love story.
