Am now halfway through. What a read! Saw the film 'Lincoln'. Then bought the DVD with others in a sale. Amongst the 'extras' was a fascinating piece about 'the making of...' which is when I really became conscious of the book. So glad to have got a copy. Doris Kearns

Am reading it right now and honestly can't put it down! I've read a lot about Lincoln but this is another whole take on the endlessly fascinating subject.

I just started the audio version of this book. I would love to be able to listen non-stop.I saw the movie "Lincoln" and have been patiently waiting for my library to have an available copy. I feel Doris Kearns Goodwin's writing style with Richard Thomas's narration make a great combination.
