I felt it boring and somewhat pretentious. Corporal punishment, repetitive dialogue, vulgar (not BDSM) sex scenes and the worst cast of supporting characters... The list is endless as to why the entire series bored me to death. I skimmed, a lot.

it gets better, well at least to me, but i really do think if you stuck with it you'd love it by the end, the writing gets better and so does the story line.
