Bryan Hatch
Bryan Hatch asked Brent Weeks:

I thoroughly enjoy your sense of humor. As someone with a similar sense of humor, how do you prefer to retort when someone states that "sarcasm is the lowest form of wit". My prefered answer is "Yes, but it's the most fun to wield".

Brent Weeks Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit? Versus puns? Usually the wit-challenged will wield that particular challenge instead. Some witted rogue (Anonymous, that prolific knave) once said,

"I should be punished,
For every pun I shed,
Do not leave a puny shred,
Of my punnish head."

I don't look down on very many forms of humor, but sarcasm is a form that, like yeast in brewing beer, I find works best when used sparingly, but in a strong strain.
