Matthew Davidson Nope. Different universe. There are two branches of humanity; those who share 'affinity' and use 'bitek' and those that don't. No static wormholes linking worlds, all interstellar travel is by starship. Blackhawk and Voidhawk starships are living, intelligent creatures.
William No. Some technical elements are the same, but this one is very long-winded. I VERY highly recommend "A Second Chance at Eden" which is set in the Night's Dawn universe, earlier on. Superb.
