What are you currently working on?

Joey Garcia I'm writing a novel based on my experiences as a news reporter. I've always written poetry so this foray into fiction is stretching every writing muscle I've got. A glorious challenge! I'm so grateful to have found two amazing writing teachers to guide me: Jane Anne Staw (author of "Unstuck") and Jodi Angel (author of "You Only Get Letters From Jail" and "The History of Vegas"). It's a delicious blessing when accomplished writers reach down to pull the rest of us up!
