What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Gary H. Collins I'm a hopeless idealist and believe that we can all do something to advance the human condition--to try and make life as better for as many people as possible. Some volunteer with organizations. Others will donate money to causes. My way is writing. A well-told story can feed the soul and the thought that I might inspire one person to commit a random act of kindness (or help them get through a difficult time), keeps me going through the tough days.
