Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Gary H. Collins
In June 1963, my father picked up a man in the back of his cab that provided our family with an opportunity altered the course of my destiny. The man worked for the Kennedy administration and I've always known that had Kennedy lost the election in 1960, my life would have been very different. It got me thinking about whether an election could save someone's life. And if it could, people might be inspired to better understand that the most important thing in the world is the outcome of an election.
