Hello Julia! Yes, SILVERN (Gilded series book 2) is coming out on Sept. 23, 2014. There will be a 3rd (there better be after the end of book 2 ;-) otherwise some of my fans are going to come after me!) and it will be the final book in the series. But I don't know when it will be released. Hopefully I'll know more soon to share with you!

You can eat Dark Chocolate! Sorry that was the one thing that kind of got stuck on my mind. Dark Chocolate usually gives me a headache. When I saw the cover, I instantly thought of my younger cousin whose around in 11 or 12. You think the Princess and the Page is appropriate for her?

I'm always on the hunt for new YA books to add to my middle school classroom library. I just added both Gilded and Silvern today. As a YA writer, what other fantasy books would you recommend to my students? My students love reading so much it's hard to keep things on the shelves!
