Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

K.C. Boyd I spent a decade tracking the Religious Right's effect on politics and policy, foreign and domestic. What I saw and learned was chilling but worse still was the fact that everyone I talked to saw this as a fringe effort from a fringe movement, one that was doomed to fail. Because we're a story culture, I decided to use fiction to depict today's religious scam artists.
