Do you ever worry about potentially offending someone with your poetry? If so, how do you reconcile that?

Kwabena Antoine Nixon i never worry about offending anyone, but i have. not intentionally ..I reconcile by having an open dialogue with the individual on why I wrote and spoke what I spoke about..I mentioned president ronald regan in one of my poems and several people in the audience were not happy. I told them that i write from my experience and at that time when I wrote the poem that's how i was feeling. last but not least i try to write from a point of view that let's you see it from the other side
