I don't think it should. I love the Uglies books, but for various reasons I don't think it should be made into a movie. Point one is that it would backfire as much as Twilight. In those books, there are supernaturally beautiful vampires. It wasn't a good idea to try to make that a movie, because actors are human and if you can't get such a major detail right, I don't think the book is fit to be a movie. And especially with this book, that is all about how amazingly pretty everyone is, it wouldn't be possible to make the actors as pretty as the books say. Therefore, I just wouldn't be able to get into the spirit of the movie. Point two is that some books just aren't meant to be movies. For example, I love books like the Infernal Devices and Uglies, but part of the fun is making the world in your head based on the words (if you get what I mean). I just feel like directors could never make movies as good as the books and that the movies would ruin big parts of the books.
