How many puppies do you train at one time as Guide Dogs for the Blind? I am particularly interested because I actually have a young adult great niece who is blind because of her heart. A couple of years ago she had a Lung/Heart Transplant done at the University of Florida at Gainsville, FL. She is doing well now.

Suzanne Woods Fisher Hi Faith! So glad your niece is doing well. What a difficult health journey she has had. Puppy raisers only raise one puppy at a time. Our main job is to socialize the puppy, plus teach it good house manners. We attend a weekly meeting to learn more about training and to have training exercises with the puppies.
