Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

David McGowan I carried the idea of a group of people making a long journey through California with the threat of giant UFOs overhead for many years. The thought of them not knowing what was around the next corner, what was coming from the sky. That tension that permeates every part of their fabric. But I knew it would be more, much more, than that. I knew it would be about people, and how they grow and develop and the relationships they forge along the way. It really is a special thing!
