Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

James McLellan I got the idea for 'Cradle of the Sun' while reading 'She, A History of Adventure' by H.R. Haggard. I thought, wouldn't it be fun to take an old-fashioned adventure story in a science fiction setting? To that end, it was 'King Solomon's Mines' that I most looked to for my adventure story. I even borrowed several characters' names from that work.
