Goodreads asked Gary Edward Gedall:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Gary Edward Gedall The obvious answer, Write. You do not have to launch yourself into a 100,000 word project, even a short 'writing exercise' of a half page will work a bit the machine.

Reading is also important; at some point in your life, you will have to have read quite a lot of stuff written by others, to give yourself a writing base.

If you lack confidence, then join some sort of writing course or writers group, that way you can get; support and feedback.

Most of all, if you feel that you should write - then do it.
