It depends? Will you be a good therapy dog partner? With socialization and manners (SAM) that all dogs need, most dogs (adopted too) can become good therapy dogs when matched in safe venues / clients / groups. Not all of us make good doctors, teachers or movie stars. Not all dogs can lie still in a hospice. This dog may be great with children, while a calmer, perhaps older dog, would bode well in a hospice or setting with more fragile clients.
