Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
I'm not content to take on nice and comfortable topics. I skirt those in favor of writing about the real struggles in life. As a Christian, I'm not supposed to be of the world but that doesn't mean I don't have to live in it. Seems like a lot of Christian fiction wants to avoid subjects like drugs, pornography, human trafficking, political corruption and so forth. My latest book, FINDING FAITH, came about after I read an online news article about the increased amount of human trafficking in America. It's become highly prevalent in our society. That's when I came up with the idea to write a book about a female private investigator—since females are usually the prime targets of trafficking, although plenty of males are affected by it, too—whose life is turned toward God when she gets thrown into a case involving it.
