The book reads well and it's easy to assimilate to the main character in one way or another. I realize it is targeted for the 10-14 crowd but I still enjoyed reading it on my day off (yes you can read it for dessert). However be forewarned that the next novel is not written yet...if you were looking for a series...

Yes this book is so good! I would recommend it to a lot of people. If you like books with magic, this is a good read for you.
