I find that immersing myself in art helps me through the blocked patches. I read a great book, see a good movie, watch a lot of Netflix, visit an art museum, or listen to music to get myself in the mood to write. I've also been known to write fanfiction under my pen name of Gypsy Rose on fanfiction.net. #TeamSherlock
