Goodreads asked Anne Cleeland:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Anne Cleeland Thank goodness I never really have writer's block--instead my troubles happen because I can't decide which way to go when I have a lot of different ideas for the plot.
But I think it is very helpful to begin any writing session by going back a chapter or two to make edits. It puts you back into the story so you can pick up the threads and start writing new copy.
