How do you get inspired to write?

Anne Cleeland I think the better question is how I get inspired to do the other day-to-day things that need to be done. If I had my way, I'd be sitting with my laptop all day but my family wouldn't take it very well.
I have to keep interrupting whatever project I'm working on to write down an idea for a scene that is completely unrelated. Vikings! Aliens! The possibilities are endless.

Thank you for the new serial. The cover is super gorgeous! I'm looking forward to chapter 2! My question is about "The True Pretender." It was an amazing story. But the ending was so sad and it made me feel like crying. Would the time line of "A Death in Sheffield" allow for any mentioning of Alexis's returning to Epione? To Desclaires? Thank you so much.
