What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Ash Night For me personally, the best thing about being a writer is interacting with my amazing fans. I'm shy in real life, but if anyone ever wants to come over and just say hi or have me sign something, feel free to talk to me! I love when I hear my work is appreciated. To me, my characters are real people and are almost like my kids so I'm so proud when someone likes them. I think being an indie author gives me more freedom to interact with my fans and I love that. I'd take that over a publishing contract any day.
