Ah, crap. I feel like a buzzkill for being that one person who says no.
I really, really, really liked this book. But I believe that if you're looking for epic fantasy, you won't exactly find it here.
It focuses more on the love triangle than anything, there's no magic or fantasy-like qualities in here. It's kind of like The Selection, which is under "fantasy" genre, but there's really no fantasy in it.

Without a doubt
Monica Millard
Wholeheartedly.
Alicia
To me, it felt more like a Historical Fiction, rather than High Fantasy. But nevertheless, I really loved this book!
Elias
I haven't read it yet, although I own both books out now, but I've heard mainly negative things-- apparently it's a Romance Novel In Disguise. If you want a proper epic fantasy, try Sabriel or The Blue Sword or Mistborn.
Jennifer
Not a comment on the book, but Raymond E. Feist has a wonderful epic fantasy series: The Riftwar Saga (first book "Magician" or "Magician: Apprentice", which is the first half). If you like traditional fantasy like Tolkien, you will love this series.
Shania
Definitely! It's so different and unique!
Jenny
its great if u lub Acotar by sarah j maas tbh
McKenna
Ok, I think I'm a little late to this- but the series of Throne of Glass is fantasy. More the last three books than the first two. The first two are more about an assassin.
Cheyanna Pittman
It is an epic fantasy but it also is a romance book. I absolutely adored it though I definitely recommend reading it!
Maricel
i would have but i hate how book 3 turned out, not only with the story but how all the characters seemed to have changed...and not for the better.
Victoria Orozco
Without a doubt
Lesia Joukova
Definitely not. As Jennifer said, if you want an epic fantasy with a great love element, check out The Riftwar Saga by Raymond E. Feist and Janny Wurts.
LauSo
Not really, it was more focused on the romance than in epic fantasy.
Samantha
epic fantasy yes but it's more like what Alicia said Historical Fiction with some fantasy possibly in the future books.
Hana
lol nope it's terrible
Tigrish
It doesn't feel that epic, but sure.
Lee Monette
THIS IS A ROMANCE BOOK.
