Goodreads asked Rick Marchetti:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Rick Marchetti I've struggled with writer's block on occasion and it's not a lot of fun. I happen to be a very visual person. When I read a book, it's as if there's a movie playing in my head (which is probably why I usually don't enjoy the movie versions of my favorite books). When I write, it's the same way; I'm able to 'see' the action unfold. So, when I'm stuck, I turn on the movie and picture the action up to that point. Often, I'm able to move right past the point where I was stuck by visualizing what's happening.
