Goodreads asked John Stearn:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

John Stearn If you have an idea for a story then get a pad and write it down. You never know where it will take you.
My First story "DELIRIUM" was written on scrap pieces of paper. I wrote the scene where the serial killer fights the police first and then when he kills one of his victims in a field. Both parts are now in mid section of the book.
Remember write down the story first and get all of your ideas on paper, worry about the gramma and lay out when you are happy with your complete story. Ask two or three people to read through the story and ring or mark any typos, gramma and plot mistakes. You can do this yourself, but you will miss the most simple of mistakes, it is easier if someone else does this for you.
When you are happy with the final product then go to Amazon and upload your book to the kindle in the self publishing section and within 24 hours your book will be on sale.
