I walk dogs. A lot. Rain or shine, sleet and snow... I get out and walk. Sometimes on the street, sometimes in the woods, I seem to be able to get just enough distance from my work to think things through with a dog and my thoughts for company. I try to pretend the work belongs to someone else and I figure out how to best advise the author to make the piece stronger.
