Goodreads asked Andrew Ragland:

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Andrew Ragland Telling a story that someone else enjoys, or at least reacts to. Cory Doctorow said that the worst problem facing a writer isn't piracy, it's indifference. If people hate my work, at least I've stirred up a reaction. When someone really digs the story, or the world, though, and sees stories of their own they could tell, that's the best part of rolegaming development.
