I wrote the bullying stories because I was so upset by all the news reports of children committing suicide because they had been bullied. I commented about one of the books I reviewed that I dream at night about what I'm reading. Well, news reports have that effect on me too. I dreamed the part of the book in the War of 1812 where the bully throws the American flag in the fire. I woke up crying.
