Lots of Jewish, or should I say Yiddish (?) words and references. Lately, there seems to be a trend of Male authors writing mysteries with female leads. The Murder Pit was one such recent book. Has anyone else noticed this?

Asteropê Not sure if it's a trend. It's just a stale of the genre. The cozy genre overwhelming has female main characters. The cozy mystery with a male main character is a lot less common. So if there is a male author who wants to write a cozy, odds are it'll be with a female sleuth. I think it's been this way for awhile now! Nothing new.
