The idea for my latest book came from a desire I've always had to run a ranch pairing abused horses with special needs kids and those from dire conditions. There is something about the healing power of horses. They see into your soul and can reach parts of you that you keep hidden from the rest of the world. From that, the Healing Harts series was born.
