Goodreads asked M.W. Greenwood:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

M.W. Greenwood
Through the years -- with mindless physical activities that exhaust the body. Digging postholes. Building corral fences. Tearing down walls. Putting-up new ones. Working out at the gym to muscle exhaustion. Racing sailboats to the edge of capsizing. Racing cars to the edge of roll-overs. Anything that is bone-wearying. Callous-building. Pushing muscles, sinews, tendons to their limits – and then some. “Extreme Physicality” allowing the mind to rest and rejuvenate.
