Hi Sydney! Good question. I try to start with a true news event--something that would already be credible to an Amish community--and then turn it into a fictionalized story. With that said, most Amish fiction is very character based, so the stories start taking their own path as the characters come to life. Thanks for asking! Suzanne

How many puppies do you train at one time as Guide Dogs for the Blind? I am particularly interested because I actually have a young adult great niece who is blind because of her heart. A couple of years ago she had a Lung/Heart Transplant done at the University of Florida at Gainsville, FL. She is doing well now.
