Goodreads asked Avraham Anouchi:

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Avraham Anouchi I don't know what is the best thing for other writers. Mine is the realization of a dream. My father translated more than twenty books from French and Spanish to Hebrew. I tried to follow in his footsteps. After I wrote my first memoir in Hebrew, I translated it to English. Unsatisfied with the quality of my writing style, I joined an internet writers workshop in which authors edited each other's chapters. After many months of being a novice among experienced writers, my writing improved gradually to a level which encouraged me to venture writing a historical novel. It was published in 2011.
