How do you deal with writer’s block?

Monica Parker On my smarter days, I put on my shoes and head out to walk and just think about what is causing my brain to cramp. I find that when I walk I relax and when I relax, things that have eluded me begin to spark. On my not so smart days --- I graze endlessly from a bowl of popcorn or nuts hoping chewing will snap me back into consciousness. Sometime the mindlessness works - It seems to come down to relaxing either way.
