If I'm blocked, I've learned there's usually a reason. It doesn't mean I should stop writing, although sometimes it means I need a nap. Or a shower. If I have a muse, she definitely hangs out in the shower and it's amazing how many problems get solved there. Sometimes it means I need to change something about the story, or spend time getting into a character's head.
