I haven't been able to decipher her use of 6 ellipses instead of the conventional 3 dots.

Dorcas It is Sarah's stutter.
Halie I think they're mostly used to illustrate Sarah's stammer, and her inability to get the words off of her tongue. I don't remember the ellipses being used much other than when Sarah was speaking, so I think it's simply to show it sometimes took her a long time to finally get the words out.
