Goodreads asked Daniel Sullivan:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Daniel Sullivan Write. If you can't think of what to write, write anyway. I allocate time daily for writing, and even if I only manage a sentence or two, something gets written. Ninety nine times out of a hundred, I find the block just goes away. If it doesn't, I write what may feel like substandard prose and then look at it the next day, often surprised that it was actually pretty good.
