Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Chiara Talluto Petrella, the Gillian Princess was recently published - November 23rd, 2016. It was a four year writing process to get the story where it ended up being. Initially, the story was going to be part of anthology book, but it never made the cut. I put it away for two years before resurrecting it in 2015. I began reading it to my young daughters, and they convinced me to publish it...and I did. For them. In fact, they've included their own illustrations in the book. They are my inspiration for writing this story. I hope you check it out and support an Indie author.
