Goodreads asked Helen Bridgett:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Helen Bridgett Writing 80-90,000 words is no mean feat so be ready to put the hours in. It can be a lonely affair so do join a network - perhaps a writing group or an online forum. It helps to know there are others struggling with the plot or the characters at 3am !
Also, make sure you get some exercise - sometimes you're so engrossed in your writing to don't move at all for hours on end and that is agony!
