Just because it has angels in it doesn't make it Christian! The author has taken a lot of leeway with Biblical things and her interpretation of them.

The way this falls into the category of a "Christian Novel" is through Bethany and Xavier's faith to God. Throughout the entire series they are faced with many hardships and they go through things that an ordinary couple wouldn't stay together through. The way Bethany explains Christianity is enough to guide someone into becoming to a believer. She speaks about how through God's help and His wisdom, she is able to be as strong as she is. Xavier talks about how he never stops praying and how God is responsible for his strength and courage. The other answers to this say that it's "Christian" just because of the angels. This is utterly untrue. They must not have read the book. The amount of worthy scripture and Biblical principles involved in this book is astounding.
