Because option trading can be complicated to someone who has had limited experience working with them (in fact many industry professionals do not understand them either) I found it necessary to write a book where the reader would be able to understand the concept at his or her own pace. I even included quizzes throughout the book so the readers could gauge their own progress. It is not a book on financial advice it is a book to understand how and why puts are written. So, to answer your question: A writer must see a need and address it. Sometime that need is to teach, other times it is to tell a story, but the desire to create something unique should always be the inspiration.
