How do you deal with writer’s block?

Robert Thomson It's in a bad neighbourhood so I try to avoid it at all costs. Honestly, I have rarely been blocked. There's always something brewing, so if it doesn't happen to be the most immediate project I'm focused on, I pick up something else and work on it. Have a drink, watch a movie, go outside, change the scenery. Shifting focus to something that has movement, that seems to be asking for attention, is a great way of not getting hung up on being stalled. (But that doesn't take deadlines into consideration.)
