Do you think the interest in the zombie genre is going to continue to rise, level off, or fall?
I believe well written zombie stories are here to stay. But as a genre, people will lose interest and new zombie stories will reduce in number. Zombies symbolize an unbeatable enemy that force the living to put their moral code to the test. The apocalypse is the perfect setting for someone to find out who they truly are, and what they are willing to do to survive.
Are your morals set in stone; or is the threat of going to jail the only thing that makes you conform to society's expectations? How far would you go if you knew nobody would ever find out what you did? Could you live with the consequences of your actions? Are there lines you wouldn't cross?
