Not really, it has a few similarities (a female spy with spy parents) but the rest is COMPLETELY different than the Gallagher Girls series. If you liked the G.G series, then you'll like A.K.A.

I have to say, this one has a better non-spy-guy romance than Gallapher Girls had with Josh in the first book. Jesse seems like he could actually date Maggie successfully, which I had a hard time seeing Josh date Cammie the same way. I felt like Maggie's skill set was more believable, too, but don't get me wrong. I love Ally Carter's books equally as much as I love Also Known As.

I agree. It's not much like GG but it has its similarities. I still like GG better, but so far this one is good. Thinking back, the first GG was a little too girly for me as well. I foresee really loving the series.
