This came as a surprise. Although Joseph is a Goodreads friend of mine and I'm following his reviews, I had no idea of this book's existence until I happened upon it at my favorite bookstore. And I was like "It's a new Thomas Ward book! Hooray!" But I still think that Joseph doesn't know what "ending on a high note" means. How do you top The Last Apprentice: Fury of the Seventh Son? Stop while you're ahead.

On a high note? That book ended on one of the biggest cliff hangers I have ever seen in a book series in my own personal opinion. I like to know what happens to the characters and was disappointed when nothing happened with the kobalos in the end, and was elated to discover this next series. Delaney is one of the best book Authors from England whos books I enjoy reading. As he is such an good Author and story teller i have faith that this next series will be just as elating and amazing as the first
